Thank you so much for letting me and my friends stay at your house this past
weekend. It is absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful time hiking and
exploring and walking to several little towns along the mountain sides. Your

We have just returned from our holiday in Spain and would like to thank you so

We stayed at Cortijo La Suerte for a week in February 2008 – the weather was wonderful, and just a few other tourists shared the walking trails with us. Snow still covered the Sierra Nevada, early spring growth painted bright green patches on the hillsides and almond trees blossomed in the valley and around the house.
The house itself is very secluded and private, with a fabulous view and pleasant places to sit and eat outside. It's quite comfortable, a little quirky (careful on the steps!), and ideal for a small group of friends or family who want a place to themselves. We enjoyed Pitres and other quaint villages nearby and especially recommend walking and driving in the surrounding countryside.

Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at La Suerte. The house is a little treasure. It was a pleasure getting away from the normal frantic pace of modern life. The Alpujarras area was like stepping back in time with comparisons to places such as Peru or Chile!!
There were several other marvellous experiences from our time
there and I could go on and on.
Don't change anything with the house, its charm is in its location and simplicity.
